As a teenager, my obsession was photography (a close second being Dream Matte Mousse and straightening my hair within an inch of it’s life). I captured everything through the lens of my first camera and channelled my teenage angst through surreal and bizarre scenes and characters. It wasn’t long before the frames of the photos began to feel constricting, and I realised I wasn’t a Photographer, I was a Writer and Director.
